On this page: See also:There were all kinds of flags for certain occasions, most of them designed for just one event (e.g. a party congress). But one flag survived throughout the years: a white on blue reproduction of Pablo Picasso's dove, called the Peace Dove. It was used on May Day and World Peace Day (September 1st, the day World War Two began). The flag was also the official logo of the annual bicycle Peace Race between East Berlin, Warsaw (Poland) and Prague (CSFR).
